A Letter from the President

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who is partnering with us in the fight against substance abuse and addictions of all types, whether that be through financial donations or boots-on-the-ground partnerships with men and women who are still suffering.

The Eastern Shore Recovery Foundation was founded in 19xx in an effort to partner with 12-step efforts in Baldwin County by providing a safe environment for meetings to be held and we continue with the same mission today.

In 19xx the Eastern Shore Recovery Foundation was founded by 10 professional members in Alcoholics Anonymous. Today, the Eastern Shore Recovery Foundation serves upwards of hundreds of members every single day between the 64 meetings that happen every week consisting of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Sexaholics Anonymous and more.

Our mission is to continue providing any and all 12-Step meetings a safe and well-maintained environment to focus on recovery from their addictions and reducing the suffering in the lives of their families and the community.

Decidedly, 2020 and 2021 was a difficult time for everyone due to the pandemic. According to the CDC, overdoses have increased by upwards of 30% and the rate of addiction among women have become the fastest growing segment in addiction. The groups that meet at ESRF are responsible for hosting meetings into jails, prisons, treatment centers and into the local community, and without your support during this difficult time, we would no longer exist.

Thank you for fighting with us and for your support so we can continue to provide that place for all to come that are still suffering.
